    Helped clear my acne after coming off the pill

    Ive had acne for the past 5 years, to varying degrees. I took antibiotics in late 2021, which cleared my skin for the summer of 2022- but the acne came back the next year, and worse than before.

    I found Amaka on instagram, and liked how the creator did free skin consultations online. Also, the informative posts that focused on root causes of acne and imbalances in the body.

    I noticed my skin gradually getting better whilst taking the Amaka skin food supplements. The first photos are from October/ November 2023; the middle ones around March; the last in August.

    I was unable to process alcohol before these (even one drink would make me sick), but theres been an improvement I think due to the burdock root and other liver-supporting ingredients.

    I achieved clear skin, but the most compelling aspect about these supplements was that I started feeling healthier overall.

    As if my normal detoxification processes were finally getting the subtle support they needed, so that my skin didnt have to be the elimination pathway for all my inflammation etc

    I have dealt with acne for a long time. Sometimes it got better depending on the products I was using but even in the best of times, I always had 3-4 pimples on my face or brewing beneath my skin. This is the first time in 4 years where that hasn’t happened. For the first time i’m not hyper-focussing on my skin or planning my social calendar around how bad my skin is flaring up that week. There’s something about knowing that my skincare is working from the inside, that makes me feel more confident.
